Catacombs Plus, the game I’ve been slowly hacking away at for the past year or so, is finally released. You can grab it from itch.io for Windows, macOS, and Linux:

It’s only US $1.79 - it’s a pretty small game after all, and that seems a very fair price to me! DRM-free, cross-platform, and all that stuff. The macOS version is all notarised and whatnot, and is universal so it should work on Intel and Apple silicon Macs. I only have an M1 though, so Intel is untested.

If you encounter any issues, leave a comment on the itch.io page, or be formal and report it on the Heptapod. I’ve done my best to test and balance it, so hopefully there’ll be few bugs.

It’s unlikely it’ll get any post-release content updates. The only thing I’d want to add is multiplayer, and that’d be difficult, as the game is very much programmed around there only ever being one player. It’d also be split-screen because online programming in GameMaker is difficult. Bug fix updates are possible of course, if anything pops up.

Everything is on the itch.io page above. Check it out if you’re interested, and I hope it gives you $1.79 worth of enjoyment if you do.
